The Conseil scolaire Centre-Nord (CSCN) offers to their families a free, quick and easy access to a bus tracking system app.

All buses are equipped with the bus tracking system via GPS.


You will find below an overview of the system as well as the benefits for your family.

How does the bus tracking system work?

Parents can follow the real-time location of their child's school bus and receive real-time notifications/alerts about the run. Whether you are at home, at the office, or anywhere else, you can simply monitor the bus tracking from your phone.

You will have access to live, real-time tracking of the bus on the map, from the moment it departs from it’s first pick-up in the morning until it arrives at bus stop as well as throughout the journey to school and the return trip home during afternoon drop-offs.

You will receive real-time notifications when the bus starts it’s route arrives at the stop and before your child's stop, when the bus is at your child's stop, and upon arrival at the school.

Please note that there may be a delay to up to 5 min between the location seen on the application and the bus’s actual location.


The access to the bus tracking system is free of charge for our families.

How can I get the tracking system app?

The app is available through your Smartphone by accessing Apple Store or Google Play Store. Type « Zonar Bus Suite Parent » in the search bar of your apps store.

Connection to the school bus tracking system application!

How do I create an account and access my child's bus tracking?

Your child's transportation data is pulled directly from our BusPlanner database. All the information needed to access the bus tracking system is linked to the parent’s email address that was provided during registration or on your child's renewal form.

The email address you use to access your BusPlanner parent portal is the same email address to be used to access the tracking system, you don't need to create an account. Instead, you need to reset your password by following these 7 steps.

Important:

1. Please note that if your login information (email and/or phone number) has changed, you must ensure that the school board’s transportation service has been advised. This will ensure a continuation to your access to the tracking system by submitting “The Transportation change form” via BusPlanner parent portal.

2. *This application is a complimentary tool and does not replace the transportation information found in BusPlanner Parent Portal and does not replace the board’s transportation automated delay notifications.

                                 This route is not running at the moment

This could simply mean that the driver is not using the regular unit that day.

If you did not receive a notification for a delay, please be at the bus stop 5 min prior the scheduled time. If a delay has been announced, please be at the stop at the delayed time.

4.If you have not received a delay notification, the bus tracking system is not working, and the departure time is more than 10 minutes past, immediately contact the bus company responsible for your child's route directly for more information about the bus status.
